COMMENT [739]

You may hear excuses about obesity being a “complex” issue but it is not a complex issue; clowns just make it seem more complex than it actually is because they are “incompetent”. It’s easy to see what the real issue of obesity is — all some folks know is “tax” and “policy”, this is all that’s within their fallacious insides, which is to say, political-correctness. But the real issue of obesity is not sugar, that claim has been proven to be baseless and a heap of misinformation; its only fools who do not and cannot and will not prove this claim who are pushing this myth as a fact, the real problem with obesity is overeating and a personal one of self-control.

  1. “real problem with obesity is overeating and a personal one of self-control.” Emotions, genetics, medical conditions all can play a role as well. Lumping it all together as everyone will be able to be thin if they are careful what they eat is not entirely accurate. Just as it’s not accurate to say that people who count every eighth of a callorie are healthier than people who eat Oreos. People can be overweight, and they can also be severely underweight. Everything is a balance.

    1. You are right that things like “emotions”, genetics, medical conditions etc all can play a role, but “obesity” is not just a matter of being bigger than someone else; “obesity” is a medical condition that is very unhealthy and is often triggered by the high intake of high-calorie foods over a considerable amount of time. It has been proven that to control obesity, the use of diets that promote the consumption of a very moderate amount of food but balanced in terms of nutrition, actually helps to prevent obesity. This is not a new discovery lol

      1. Didn’t say it was. But I have seen people eat extremely limiting and very unhealthy foods that are not balanced just to lose weight. I would rather have my milkshake and be chubby than eat like a rabbit and be rail thin. The milkshake makes me happy, the salads make me miserable because there’s no joy in that much repetition.

  3. True. In our world we are afraid to say the truth.. also compassion will come with this as all problems stem from pain. πŸ™πŸŒΉ

    1. Absolutely my Amber πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ˜‚. I often have compassion for those who I see are truly in difficult situations, but it’s the falsehoods that I discourage.

As you and I both know, there are those who seek to control information and manipulate perceptions for all kinds of foolish reasons, but no thanks, I prefer to stick with reality hahaha

Even tho for some ppl obesity might be a problem of self control and not sugar per say, for other ppl might be related to medical conditions or even menopause. Very interesting this topic.

    1. Hahaha thanks alot my firend; it’s good to have some fun with the wordplay from time to time lol.

You are correct, as of recently I have been becoming aware of some of these other possibilities that may cause weight gain, and these possible reasons should definitely be considered. I made this topic particularly to refute the claims about sugar’s association with weight gain as it seems like the overwhelming majority of cases are preventable and specifically caused by the excessive consumption of high-calorie foods, often shown by the fact that when most people just reduce their food intake or go on a diet, they actually lose considerable weight lol

I am very happy that you enjoyed my topic and it’s lovely that you added your input Zadi πŸ’•πŸ€©πŸ’―
